Your use of this website is subject to the following Website Terms & Conditions of Use, which you are deemed to accept by using the website.

1. Additional Terms. Additional terms will apply to:

  • any booking or purchase that you make through this website either to attend a conference or to purchase a documentation pack for a conference (see Booking/Purchasing Terms & Conditions); and
  • Emap's use of your registration and other personal data (see Privacy Policy).

2. Prohibited Use. You agree not to use this website:

  • to create a database (electronic or otherwise) that includes material downloaded or otherwise obtained from this website except where expressly permitted on the website;
  • to transmit or re-circulate any material obtained from this website to any third party except where expressly permitted on this website;
  • to disseminate any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising, promotional materials, "junk mail," "spam," "chain letters," "pyramid schemes," or any other form of solicitation;
  • to disseminate any material which is abusive, defamatory or obscene, may harass, offend or inconvenience any person, applauds, encourages or entices abuse, discrimination or criminal activity or which might restrict or inhibit the use and enjoyment of the website by any person;
  • to disseminate any material that contains software viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, damage, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment; or
  • in any way that might infringe third party privacy or other rights, is unlawful or that might bring Emap or any of its subsidiaries into disrepute.

3. Information and Availability. Whilst we take every care to ensure that the information on this website is accurate and complete, some of it may be supplied to us by third parties and we are unable to check its accuracy or completeness. You are advised to verify the accuracy of any information before relying on it. Further, due to the inherent nature of the Internet, errors, interruptions and delays may occur in the service at any time. Accordingly, this website is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without any warranties of any kind and we do not accept any liability arising from any inaccuracy or omission in the information or interruption in availability.

4. No Reliance. The information on this website does not necessarily reflect the views and opinions of Emap or any of its brands. Neither should any suggestions or advice contained on this website be relied upon in place of professional advice. You are responsible for checking the accuracy of relevant facts, instructions, suggestions and/or opinions given on this website before entering into any commitment based upon them.

You acknowledge that the content on those pages is not subject to our control, their owners may be independent from us and we do not endorse or accept any responsibility for their content. 6. Viruses, etc. We will use reasonable endeavours to ensure that the website does not contain or promulgate any viruses or other malicious code. 8. Registration. On certain parts of this website we may require you to register and provide certain information about yourself and where you do this you agree to: (a) provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself as prompted by the relevant registration form (such information being the "Registration Data") and (b) maintain and promptly update the Registration Data (by sending an appropriately worded email to conferences@emap.com to keep it true, accurate, current and complete.

9. Submission of Information. Where information (including sensitive financial or personal information) is provided to Emap (whether directly through the website or otherwise) you accept that these methods of communication cannot be 100% secure. Where sensitive financial information is provided to Emap it uses encryption software to attempt to prevent unauthorised access to this information being obtained. However, Emap cannot accept any responsibility or liability for any damages (other than liability for death or physical injury arising out of the negligence of Emap or its officers or any liabilities that cannot, as a matter of law, be excluded) arising from the misuse or loss of data or information submitted by you to Emap directly through the website or otherwise. The provision of personal information by you and use of it by Emap is subject to Emap's Privacy Policy which is incorporated in the Terms and Conditions of Use.

10. General. In the event that any term of these Website Terms & Conditions of Use are held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of these Website Terms & Conditions of Use shall remain valid and enforceable. Emap reserves the right to vary these Website Terms & Conditions of Use from time to time. Such variations become effective immediately upon the posting of the varied Website Terms & Conditions of Use on the website. By continuing to use the website you will be deemed to accept such variations. Nothing in these Website Terms & Conditions of Use shall restrict or exclude any liability that we have to any party which cannot be excluded by law and in particular, and notwithstanding any term of these Website Terms & Conditions of Use, our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence shall not be limited or excluded in any way. These Website Terms & Conditions of Use shall be governed by English law and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

SECTION 2: BOOKING/PURCHASING TERMS & CONDITIONS

You may register with Emap Limited (a company registered in the UK (company no. 537204) with its registered office at Greater London House, Ground Floor, Hampstead Road, London NW1 7EJ ("Emap", and references to "us", "we" or "our" shall be construed accordingly as meaning Emap)) for a place (subject to availability) at the conference referred to below. Unless otherwise stated by Emap (and subject to availability), you may also place an order to purchase the documentation pack produced for the conference.

All applications to register for the conference, and all orders to purchase the relevant documentation pack, are made subject to these Booking/Purchasing Terms & Conditions (which shall apply to the exclusion of any terms imposed by you).

1. It may be necessary for reasons beyond our control to alter the advertised content, timing and/or location of the conference, or the advertised speakers. We reserve the right to do this at any time.

2. Registrations to Attend. To register for a place at this conference please complete the online registration booking form. If you prefer to register by telephone, please call. If you prefer to register by fax, please print out (or photocopy) the registration booking form and fax it to 020 7728 5299. If you are sending your registration by post, please print out (or photocopy) the registration booking form and send it to Emap Networks, Customer Services, Greater London House, Hampsted Road, London, NW1 7EJ.

All applications to register for the conference are subject to availability, payment in full and the conference booking terms (set out in section 5 below). Please also review our Privacy Policy.

3. Purchasing Documentation Packs. To place your order please complete the online purchase order form. If you prefer to order by telephone, please call 0845 056 8341. If you prefer to order by fax, please print out (or photocopy) the purchase order form and fax it to 020 7728 5299. If you are sending your order by post, please print out (or photocopy) the purchase order form and send it to Emap Networks, Customer Services, Greater London House, Hampsted Road, London, NW1 7EJ.

All orders to purchase the documentation pack are subject to availability, payment in full and the documentation purchase terms (set out in section 6 below). Please also review our Privacy Policy.

4. Prices. Our prices for attending the conference, and for purchasing the documentation pack for the conference, are set out on the relevant registration booking form or the relevant purchase order form or can otherwise be obtained from us upon request or from our website. Prices may be subject to change from time to time

5. Conference Booking Conditions.

  • Confirmation of your registration will be sent by post to you within five (5) working days of our receipt of your registration booking.
  • A separate invoice will be sent to you within ten (10) working days setting out the relevant payment instructions and terms. You must ensure that payment is received by us two (2) weeks before the date of the conference. If you apply to register for the conference less than two (2) weeks before the date of the conference we will only accept payment by a credit card, unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.
  • If for any reason we have not received payment in full by the date of the conference you (or the attending delegate) will be asked as a condition of being allowed to attend the conference to guarantee payment with a personal credit card on the day of the conference.
  • Your registration to attend the conference may only be changed, replaced or refunded at our absolute discretion. We do, however, welcome substitute delegates attending in your place (if you are not able to attend) provided that we have prior notice of the name of your proposed substitute and received payment in full.
  • Subject to the next bullet point, any notice you purport to serve on us cancelling your registration must be in writing.
  • Cancellations: If we receive your written notice cancelling your registration:
    - more than 30 days prior to the date of the conference, you must pay 10% of the invoice total (or, if payment in full has already been received by the date of cancellation, we will refund you in full less 10% of the invoice total);
    - between 30 and 7 days prior to the date of the conference, you must pay 50% of the invoice total (or, if payment in full has already been received by the date of cancellation, we will refund you 50% of the invoice total); and
    - less than 7 days prior to the date of the conference, you must pay 100% of the invoice total (and, if payment in full has already been received by the date of cancellation, we shall be entitled to keep such payment in full).
    - Conference documentation for delegates attending the conference will be distributed at the conference.

6. Documentation Purchase Terms.

  • Confirmation of your purchase order will be sent by post to you within five (5) working days of our receipt of your order.
  • A separate invoice will be sent to you within ten (10) working days setting out the relevant payment instructions and terms
  • We will notify you if the documentation pack you are requesting is no longer available.
  • You acknowledge and agree that we will not deliver the documentation pack to you until we have received payment in full from you.
  • Unless otherwise agreed by us in writing, we will send the documentation pack to the address provided by you in your purchase order by normal first class post.
  • Risk of loss or damage of a documentation pack passes to you upon postage by us. For the avoidance of doubt, this does not affect your statutory rights.
  • If, as part of the documentation pack, you are entitled to view an on-line audio-visual recording of the conference we will provide you with separate instructions on how to view this. Without prejudice and subject to section 7 below, if you are entitled to view such a recording you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to view the recording for your own personal and private purposes only. You may, subject to the restrictions set out in section 7 below, download a single copy of the recording on a single computer for your own private viewing/listening purposes only.

7. Conference Materials (including Documentation Packs). By registering to attend at the conference, or by ordering a copy of the documentation pack, you hereby expressly acknowledge and agree to comply with the following terms and conditions:

  • The copyright and all other rights in all presentations at the conference and in all materials published or otherwise made available as part of the conference and/or the documentation pack (including, but not limited to, any audio-visual recording of the conference) ("Content") is owned by Emap or is included with the permission of the owner of the rights. No photography, filming, broadcast or other dissemination of the Content is permitted without Emap's express prior written consent. Subject to this provision, all rights in the Content are reserved to Emap.
  • You shall not distribute, reproduce, modify, store, transfer or in any other way use any of the Content other than for your own personal and private purposes, and in particular you shall not:
    - upload Content (or any part of it) into any shared system;
    - create a database of any Content;
    - include any Content in a website or on any intranet;
    - transmit or re-circulate Content to any third party or otherwise make any commercial use of the Content whatsoever unless with the express prior written permission of Emap; and
    - use Content in any way that might infringe third party rights or that might bring Emap or any of its subsidiaries into disrepute.
  • The Content does not necessarily reflect the views and opinions of Emap or any of its brands. Neither should any suggestions or advice contained in the Content be relied upon in place of professional or other advice.
  • Whilst Emap takes care to ensure that the Content is accurate and complete, some of it is supplied by third parties and Emap is unable to check its accuracy or completeness. You are advised to verify the accuracy of any information before relying on it. The Content is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without any warranties of any kind (express or implied) and Emap does not (and cannot) accept any liability arising from any inaccuracy or omission in the Content or, to the fullest extent permitted by law, arising from any infringing, defamatory or otherwise unlawful material in the Content.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, Emap shall not be liable under or in connection with this agreement, in contract, tort (including, but not limited to negligence) or howsoever arising, for any loss of profits, business or goodwill, or for any indirect or consequential loss.
  • Emap reserves the right to suspend access to any of the Content on becoming aware that any regulation, claim, condition or restriction in any part of the world which in Emap's reasonable opinion requires it to do so, or which may expose Emap to any liability or claim.

8. Usernames & Passwords. By registering for this conference or ordering the documentation pack you may be allocated with a unique username and/or password that gives you access to an online website account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your username and password, and are fully responsible for all activities that occur through your website account. You agree to (a) immediately notify us if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your password or website account or any other breach of security by sending an appropriately worded e-mail to conferences@emap.com and (b) ensure that you exit from your website account at the end of each session. We cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with these requirements.

9. General. In the event that any term of these Booking/Purchasing Terms & Conditions are held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of these Booking/Purchasing Terms & Conditions shall remain valid and enforceable. Emap reserves the right to vary these Booking/Purchasing Terms & Conditions from time to time. Nothing in these Booking/Purchasing Terms & Conditions shall restrict or exclude any liability that we have to any party which cannot be excluded by law and in particular, and notwithstanding any term of these Booking/Purchasing Terms & Conditions, our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence shall not be limited or excluded in any way.
