The NEC is located in the middle of the UK, 8 miles East of Birmingham city centre – Fantastic, you could not wish for a more accessible place! If you’re coming from any part of the UK or flying in from overseas you will find that the central position is at the hub of the UK transport network; you can step directly onto the site from road, rail or air.
By plane:
More than 38 scheduled airlines link Birmingham International Airport to 75 business centres in the UK, Europe, North America and the Middle East.
By train:
The NEC is situated adjacent to Birmingham International Rail Station. Once you have arrived at Birmingham International Rail Station take the stairs or lift from any platform up to the station interchange. The entrance to The NEC is situated on the right hand side as you exit the station and is clearly signposted. Continue to walk along the covered walkway called the bridgelink where you can then follow signs to reach your exact destination.
By car:
Birmingham’s motorway network connects every part of the UK via the M5,M6,M40 and M42. The NEC has numerous car parks that are more broadly categorised into North, East, South and West. All in all there are over 20,000 onsite parking spaces!
